Antonis grew up between two worlds of Greek music - his grandparents taught classical piano at the National Conservatory of Athens, while his father played drums in The Forminx alongside Vangelis, the Academy Award-winning composer of Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire. His father's godfather was Dimitri Mitropoulos, conductor of the New York Philharmonic.
That lineage runs through every score he writes today.
